Clodbusters vs. Wyandotte Ghostriders Recap

| The Clodbusters and Wyandotte Ghostriders took to the field each for the first time this season on Sunday for a double header in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. The field in Upper Sandusky was a beautiful setting and surprising dry for the rain on the previous day. More than a handful of passing motorists and cranks enjoyed the warm weather and base ball. The first match started slowly as both teams searched for their long-forgotten swings. However, this match was decided by the fine play of the Clodbuster outfielders that gobbled up base hits and two baggers and scarcely at all muffed in the first set. The Clodbusters abstained from batting in the bottom of the ninth, already having a deciding advantage of 9 to 4 aces. |

The second match featured early and consistent scoring from the
Clodbusters, who tallied 11 aces in the first few frames. However, the
Ghostriders answered back with 4 aces in one half inning. Unfortunately
for the hosts, the Clodbuster bats did not quiet and the squad from Dayton
prevailed by a count of 23 to 9. |

| The Ghostriders completed the afternoon with a delicious feast for the all players and families. Huzzah to the Ghostriders for putting together an excellent event! |
