In deference to a growing desire for healthy outdoor recreation among women, the Lady Clodbusters embark on another season. They have been practicing in their leisure time, and are ready to show they are the best team north of the Ohio River. Ladies base ball has not been very popular, for we don't want to see our women injure themselves. If they would, who then would look after our children, cook our meals, and do the laundry. There are also opinions that the woman's place is in the home, and that base ball is just a way for them to stick their foot in the door so to speak. If this continues what is next, the right to vote? For whatever reason we will continue to make sure our ladies have every available opportunity to make themselves healthier. The Lady Clodbusters are well versed in the rules of baseball, and are prepared for any opponent in the 2008 season.
